Fireworks and Friends

Maurie and Jane watched our backyard fireworks from the wagon. We had lots of ooos and ahhhs. Cody said he loved to watch the girls' faces as the fireworks went off. As you can see we did our fireworks well before the sun went down. We had girls in bed by 9:00 pm and it was a late night. =) July 4, 2016

We love smores with apples instead of graham crackers. Cody built a small fire pit and fire so we could roast our marshmallows. July 4, 2016

I love my friend's chicken coop. I have always had a dream of having a big red and white barn. Maybe someday I will be able to photograph my own barn. This evening Cody went to slaughter some meat chickens. July 5, 2016
